The SUMMIT is a FREE online event and will air from Saturday – Tuesday, October 24th – 27th, 2020. 

Topics will address healthy eating at home and at school, creating change on your school’s menu, helping your family and your kids eat healthier, the impact of healthy eating on immunity, healthy eating on a budget, food and racism, to school or not to school, strategies for schooling at home while trying to do your job, and more! 

The GALA is a live virtual event that will take place from 7 – 9 PM on Wednesday, October 28th

This fun evening will support the Coalition for Healthy School Food’s work and will include visits with our sponsors, special hosts, speakers, honorees, a silent auction, and an opportunity to meet and talk with others in small groups.  The event will also be GAMIFIED so you can earn points and win prizes!

Patricia Devaney is a mother of three with a Bachelor of Commerce, who has certificates in Plant Based Nutrition and International Migration.  Born and raised in Peru, Patricia now resides in Edmonton, Canada.  Previously involved in the finance of global entities, Patricia now focuses 100% of her time on her family and plant-based initiatives.  She was successful in introducing plant-based school lunch options and pioneered the first plant-based film and restaurant sampler event (a dozen restaurants participated) in Edmonton, Canada.  She is also heavily involved with the Alberta Whole Food Plant Based Society.
